I just thought I would tell you how much my party enjoyed our meals. There were 7 of us, 3 with Birthdays that weekend. Antony, Just a quick note to thank you and your colleagues - especially Suzy - for looking after our party so well on Friday. Our international colleagues all remarked on the high standard of the food, the quality of the service and the attractiveness of the surroundings. One or two with somewhat antiquated notions of the standard of British cuisine said they had revised their opinions. My wife and I will be back regularly. It was decorated beautifully and the service was great. The lady behind the bar was extremely efficient and made sure new comers received a glass of champagne within seconds of walking in. Everyone was extremely impressed and I am sure it will become a popular venue for other such events amongst our friends. Hi Anthony, First, thank you again for the delicious Christmas dinner you arranged for us last night. The food, atmosphere and the service were wonderful. Glyn managed to provide a seamless supply of dishes to all the right people at the right moment in spite of us muddling him up by changing places twice! He was good humoured and charming throughout. Being one of the vegetarians, I opted for the mushroom risotto which was absolutely superb. All the other dishes were too, according to the guests who want me to book you for next Christmas already! Dear Anthony Thank you very much for supplying us with two bottles on Saturday! It was a really nice gesture and quite unexpected. We had a lovely time, the food was excellent (my steak was brilliant) and we really liked the atmosphere and friendly staff (the waitress told Nicky you were a really good boss!) Had a mate's birthday dinner there last Saturday night and I'm compelled to write my first review ever. The whole night was fantastic. There were 10 of us and we reserved the inner banquet room on the second floor, there's a second room with a huge table that was already booked. Our room was set-up beautifully - massive candles everywhere, cool furniture and the table was great. Service and the food were both outstanding - had the scallops, sea bass and apple tart. We had the £30 fix priced menu and despite having a good amount of wine, the whole thing came to £55 per person. Will definitely book this place for future events and will look like a star for it.
